There is a membership price increase starting January 1st 2008.
Single memberships $30
Family $45.

Well it would seem that the Gymkhana Committee is going to save a lot of money this year at Year End Awards because people are not getting their Volunteer Times in.

You need 5 Volunteer times to qualify for any Year End Award. If you put your name on the sign up sheet and do not do the work or do only have the work that is what will be credited: 0 or 1/2.

We have 3 more Gymkhanas, a Clinic and Super Horse Event (contact Sue Wright to help). I have to check to see if helping at the Fair will be allowed for Volunteer time as Helpers already will get a free pass to the fair. (contact Sharon Peel to help, she needs 6 )

Here are the Volunteer times as of the June 8 th Gymkhana. These numbers include The Mane Event from last year and the November fun Gymkhana. As per the rule change that allows any member of a family to do Volunteer times I have listed them by last names only. Volunteer times may be used for Gymkhana or Horse Show Awards and done at either to count.

What’s Happening

Clinic on June 28th
What we have lined up so far for stations is:
Showmanship
Helmut Fitting (does your helmut fit right?)
Proper Hoof Care.
English Equitation, what do the different classes mean?
Show preparation
Western classes, what are the rules? 
Showmanship. 

Cost is only $10.
Start time 10 am.

Please bring a refreshment and a snack for yourself, it will probably be a warm day. Please contact Cheryl 604 823 6906 or Sue 604 823 0220 for additional information. We have some wonderful people donating their time to help us. Please RSVP so we can make sure this is a successful clinic.

Drill Try Outs
June 10th and 12th are drill try outs from 7 to 8:30.

Barbeque after the July 20th gymkhana and September 13th
Prize horse show.
Please bring a salad or dessert. Pop, hamburgers and hotdog's provided.

Super Horse Show
July 27th Super Horse Show, plus a Western Heritage Qualifier combined. ALL are invited to attend this show!
Start time is 9am. Walk trot classes as well.

October 25th is a fundraiser at JD’s lounge.

Our year end banquet and awards will be November 8th.
